Recently my father and I walked around the National Mall in Washington DC. Although I lived in DC for quite some time, I had never been to the Vietnam Wall- I know, surprising. It was incredible to watch as people looked for their loved ones and relatives. It was also very neat to see the items left at the wall. I wonder what they do with all that stuff at the end of the day? By far the coolest thing was the military boot (pictured above).
