After I graduated college I backpacked around Europe for seven weeks. Somewhere in Switzerland, I met up with a few people from the US, who I met at my hostel, and took a day trip with them to Lucerne. As we walked around the city, one of my new travel friends pointed out that I tend to walk around with my head down-- "You're going to miss the world if you don't look up"--- So, since then, I try to remember that message as I travel. Tonight as I edit my photos from my recent trip to Spain and France, I think that came in handy. While in Barcelona I spotted some beautiful up in the palm trees. (stay tuned) (I say that as if I have a large, anxious, fan base... eagerly awaiting my next post…. le sigh)
