USS Flatiron....

On my recent trip to NYC I was walking around with my camera. Somewhere between Restoration Hardware and the NY Cake Shop I saw the famous Flatiron building. I've walked past it 8 million times (exaggeration.... clearly), but I never had my camera to take a photo of it. Now that Im not in the city everyday, I figured its time to start clicking away at all the beautiful things I enjoyed seeing daily.

From this angle it kind of looks like the bow of a ship.

    I love all your photos you've taken!! Tyler just told me about your blog! I've just recently gotten a cannon rebel and am looking around at getting a new lens. I've been told that a 50mm 1.8 would be good to get? What's your opinion? I'm still learning a LOT and hopefully will get to take a class here soon to learn more about my camera (I don't understand what everything is and does yet!) :)
