Right before "winter" Nick and I planted two Bradford Flowing Pear trees in the backyard of our new house. This morning when I woke up, our trees had wonderful blossoms on them.... the first sign of spring. Having moved into the house in November, and being new to the South, we weren't sure what trees and shrubs would bloom in the spring. Now, as Spring approaches, we are seeing more and more of the shrubs around the house blooming with unexpected color. Its such a fun and wonderful surprise. The last photo is a perfect of example of one of our bushes.
I absolutely love the mixture and contrast of the blurriness and the crispness of detail in the first picture.
